Historias de Estambres – un pedacito por Morelos, is a yarn bombing project that was presented in the historic downtown of Cuernavaca, Morelos, Mexico in 2014.
The project was effected in two months from start to presentation. We were 34 persons of different backgrounds and nationalities working together. We used 170 yarn skeins and put in about 200 hours knitting. The mounting took 12 hours a wonderful Sunday in March.
The project site, in Spanish, holds a complete documentation of the project, from start to finish as well as stories from the knitters.
